CACT’s ground breaking and innovative programmes are delivered through a regular presence in schools and working with disadvantaged or socially excluded groups in society, through crime reduction initiatives and community based football coaching sessions.
CACT Kent Football and Sports Development delivers a number of engaging programmes to participants on behalf of organisations including The Football League, The National Football Association, Kent County Football Association, colleges, schools, leisure providers and prisons. CACT aim to create a fun and enjoyable environment whilst supporting young people to gain qualifications for employment, offer positive community engagement, give all young people healthy activities and encourage positive interaction with others and their community
The football coaching delivery will involve working with boys and girls with different ability levels, different age ranges in various indoor and outdoor settings. The main areas of coaching will be on the below programmes:
School Work (Primary & Secondary)
Post 16 Football Academies
Football Courses
Elite Centres
Evening Based Activities
Club Coaching
Charlton Challenge & Toddlers
Futsal Focus
Ability Counts & Upbeats (Disability Programme)
Coach Education & Employability
Suitable candidates will have knowledge and experience of coaching children and young people with different ability levels, across different age ranges in various settings. Candidates will be either working towards or be licensed members of the FA, and have UEFA/FA Football Coaching Qualifications. Candidates should also possess a willingness to develop and improve themselves through FA and/or CACT training. The areas of coaching will depend on individuals specific interests, qualifications, knowledge, experience, suitability and availability of work.
