Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide home and away pitch-side medical cover at Saturday/Sunday fixtures across foundation and youth phase age-groups (U9-16) covering at least 2 matches per month.
Record all match day injuries and treatment delivered utilising PMA. Report all significant injuries to the Head of Medicine & Sport Science in accordance with Gillingham Football Club Academy policy.
Refer injured players for additional assessment/treatment (e.g. A&E, GP, Club Doctor) as appropriate.
Liase with multidisciplinary team in the treatment and management of injured players.
Assist evening clinics at Canterbury when required.
Attend all CPD and management meetings as required.
Maintain qualifications to the minimum standard as required by the rules: FA Intermediate Trauma and Medical Management in Football; FA Safeguarding Children Certificate; FA DBS check & all CPD as indicated by the CSP and HCPC Regulations.

Requirements:
BSc/MSc Sports Therapy or equivalent
Member of HCPC/SST.
Experience working within elite sport preferably football.
An excellent understanding of acute injury management and physiotherapy in sport.

FA Safeguarding Certification.
