Butterfly Conservation
is a leading wildlife charity working to conserve butterflies, moths and our environment.
Six-month fixed term contract commencing 1st October 2020, with possible extension pending funding confirmation. Working two days per week (0.4fte).
Salary £24,551- £28,363 pa (pro-rata), plus pension contribution
We are seeking
a highly motivated and enthusiastic Field Officer in this exciting key role to help deliver the Co-Operation Across Borders for Biodiversity Project (CABB). Working closely with our CABB partners and staff, you will be responsible for providing advice relating specifically to the Marsh Fritillary and other invertebrates and associated species.
Based in Northern Ireland, work will include implementing conservation measures, managing data and developing positive relationships with external partners and landowners.
Experience
of surveying, protecting and/or managing important sites, species or habitats, together with excellent communication skills are essential. Good knowledge of specialist conservation in relevant habitat or species areas and experience of partnership working is desirable.
