We are recruiting Court Supervisors.
Hours: Casual Workers
rota shift work –
Friday 5:00pm to 10:00pm
Saturday, Sunday during Centre opening hours of
9:00am to 6:00pm
(up to 9:30pm on match nights)
Salary: £10.42 per hour
Location: Manchester Basketball Centre, Whalley Range High School, Manchester
We are looking for individuals with a can-do attitude and a commitment to great customer service to welcome and support our players and visitors to the Manchester Basketball Centre.
You will be the first point of contact for parents and children in our community programme as well as visitors and players on game day.
You will ensure that the Manchester Basketball Centre is a safe, clean and comfortable environment for all spectators, players, volunteers and employees. This includes monitoring spectator behaviour to ensure that it is maintained in line with the Club’s Code of conduct, health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
You will be able to provide First Aid to players on court or to visitors to the Centre, if so required.
You will act as the event manager in the presentation of Senior Men and Women’s games (or support the event manager).
You will be passionate about working in an environment that supports the development of young people through sports.

Who are we?
Greater Manchester Community Basketball and Sports Association Ltd, known to many as the Manchester and Mystics Basketball Club (‘the Club’), is a charity and has a commitment to children and young people in the communities of Greater Manchester to maximise opportunities for them to play basketball.
Having started from humble beginnings over 25 years ago we are also highly successful in elite basketball competition, especially at junior levels, with 16 teams in National Basketball League competitions in 2022-23. Five junior teams qualified for the 2022-23 National Final Fours and 3 teams won their Play Off Finals.
The Club also operates a senior men’s team and a senior women’s team (both in NBL Division 2); and men’s and women’s teams in the elite academy system (aged 16-19).
