Established in 2010 by designer Ian Haigh, Central Design Studio is an award winning interior design company, specialising in restaurant, bar and hotel design.
We don’t have a ‘signature style’. Instead we have an underlying design philosophy, which incorporates values such as context, atmosphere, materials, craftsmanship and detail. We pride ourselves on providing creativity and expertise with a personal and tailored service, and we are looking for a design assistant to join our small team in London.
The design assistant role is extremely varied, and the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of studio life. This could be producing technical drawings, working on presentations, ordering samples and running errands.
The following are essential:
excellent AutoCAD skills
proficient in Photoshop and InDesign
proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
be naturally organised and efficient
fluent spoken and written English
enthusiasm and a passion for design
A degree in interior design or similar is preferred, but not essential with relevant previous experience. You must be a UK resident and eligible to work.
Salary offered is £20,000pa.
