Purpose:
To lead on delivering high-quality video content across England Rugby channels, primarily from the grassroots game
To plan, prioritise and produce video content that supports the RFU’s strategic objectives and key campaigns related to the grassroots game
Work to improve the quality, reach and engagement of grassroots video content across multiple channels
Create grassroots video content for website and social media channels, which entertain and engage new audiences and help drive participation
To lead on video-related to the grassroots game, working with internal and external stakeholders, including commercial partners
Accountabilities:
Day-to-day management of video content from the community game
Produce compelling video to help engage existing and new audiences exercising great editorial judgment
Work with key stakeholders across the organisation to deliver video requirements
Work across the marketing team on key strategic community rugby campaigns
Work closely with commercial partners on branded content
Work with community clubs to assist on video production and content for their social media channels
Build key relationships with the community game
Contribute new ideas to keep England Rugby video content fresh, innovative and exciting to a wide, varied audience across multiple channels and platforms

Qualifications, Skills & experience:
Essential:
Demonstrable experience in content or similar field
Highly experienced in video editing, production and delivery
Experienced in filming and editing interviews and features
Experienced in audio production/sound engineering
Highly adept at using desktop video production software
Experience working to tight deadlines in a high-paced environment
Understanding of the major digital video editing software formats and delivery platforms
Experience in altering tone and output depending on the delivery platform
Experienced in producing video content for a high-profile organisation, broadcaster or publication
Experienced in working with commercial partners on branded content campaigns
Keen to learn from others, e.g. key stakeholders, partners and media organisations
Collaborative, team player, personable and inquisitive
Self-starter – willing to adapt, react and generate ideas
Have an instinct for an interesting angle at any level of rugby
Innovative – open to trying new content ideas to keep extending reach through our channels
Aware of, and interested in, digital trends and developments in the digital publishing sphere
Committed to driving forward inclusion in your role and day-to-day behaviours
Desirable:
Educated to degree level standard or above or have an equivalent professional qualification in a relevant discipline
Wide knowledge of rugby at all levels
Willingness to work unscheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends
