Job Description
๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿฅˆ๐Ÿ€ Purpose of Role
To assist Basketball England in ensuring rules and processes related to integrity are effective and properly applied, to improve overall standards of behaviour and conduct across the game to create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿฅˆ๐Ÿ€ Key Accountabilities
To attend meetings on a quarterly basis, or as required.
To monitor the outcome of cases, and identify any learning needs or areas of improvement.
To identify any areas within the rules, regulations or policies that may require review or revision, and make proposals for amendments.
To make any other suggestions as appropriate for amendments or additions, based on reviewing cases and feedback from participants involved in integrity matters.
To maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality.
To declare immediately any potential conflicts of interest with any case under discussion or review.

๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿฅˆ๐Ÿ€ Role Requirements;
Experience, Knowledge & skills
Demonstrable experience of:
โƒ Experience of basketball, ideally with a knowledge and understanding across multiple levels of the game.

๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿฅˆ๐Ÿ€ Knowledge:
โƒ Demonstrable knowledge of safeguarding requirements in a sporting context and within disciplinary proceedings
โƒ Understanding and knowledge of disciplinary proceedings, in particular in a sport setting
โƒ Awareness and appreciation of the impact of violence, abusive or discriminatory behaviour on participants within a sporting context
