Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic assistant to support the development and administration of the RYA’s e-learning system and other web based projects.
Reporting to the E-Learning Manager, you will work with colleagues across many RYA departments to assist with the development, administration and support of the various e-learning projects run through the RYA Interactive learning management site, taking responsibility for maintaining administrative and statistical information on usage to enable invoicing and analysis. You will be a front-line point of contact for training providers, instructors and students wanting to take part in the RYA e-learning programme.
You will also assist in maintaining the Training Department’s section of the main RYA website and, from time to time, your responsibilities will extend to assisting with the work of colleagues within Training Resources.
Applicants should have demonstrable experience in an administrative role and be IT literate particularly in relation to MS Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint. Experience of using graphics and photo editing software, databases, website administration and HTML is desirable. Excellent communication skills are required as is the ability to work flexibly and to effectively multi-task and prioritise a busy workload.
