The position
would suit an editor seeking a change, a deputy who is ready to manage a title, or a newspaper or website journalist interested in moving into trade publishing.
The job requires strong writing skills, a willingness to travel internationally (under normal circumstances) and the ability to communicate with business people at all levels. The role requires active involvement in KHL’s conferences and exhibitions.
Our preference is for an editor who would work from KHL’s head office in Wadhurst, East Sussex – when normal working conditions are resumed – although we would also consider applications from journalists working from a home office.
KHL Group is based at a modern office in Wadhurst, near Tunbridge Wells, and publishes more than 15 magazines in the construction and power markets. It organises exhibitions and conferences, runs numerous news websites linked to its titles, and has market research and recruitment divisions. The company has offices in Chicago, Shanghai and Chile. See www.khl.com for more information.
The position
carries a salary in the range £35-£40k, depending on experience, and includes a car (or car allowance), health insurance and a contributory pension scheme.
