Petroleum Economist is a leading provider of high-level intelligence, analysis and opinion on the global oil and gas market. The aim is to expand its reputation as a source of exclusive, directional intelligence and analysis.
Subscribers include senior policy makers, industry executives, financiers, consultants and academics in 85 countries. The brand has ambitious plans to expand its readership, particularly amongst leaders in national and international oil companies, and is looking for a temporary editorial assistant in London to support us with plans in improving the web and print products. This is a fixed-term contract, to assist with the build and content migration on the brand’s new website.
The role will include a number of key responsibilities
Tagging our back catalogue of articles;
Image sourcing and tagging;
Establishing outbound and third party links;
Write search engine-friendly headlines and standfirsts
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Excellent editorial skills, including writing and editing;
An interest in energy journalism
Experience working with a CMS, and understanding of different reader expectations
