Job Description
BeDiscovered Football Academy (BDFA) is a new and innovative Football Academy that is aiming to replicate the practises used by professional academies around the country. Football coaching, Performance analysis of every session and age appropriate strength and conditioning are all implemented with the view to developing and ascending young players to professional clubs and allowing them a platform to fulfil their potential. Using the links within BDFA, matches against professional academies and visits from professional scouts are lined up allowing our talented young players the platform to showcase their ability against the best.

BDFA are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative coach to join the team.
You must have experience of providing a professional service to young players and parents and show the necessary desire and commitment to developing yourself professionally. Previous experience of working with and developing children is essential, as are excellent communication and organisational skills. They will be joining a progressive academy who works with local schools, community and academy football clubs.
We are looking for coaches to work in schools as well as for the BeDiscovered academy.

Roles & Responsibilities:
– Plan, Design and execute school session for players 7-11
– Plan, Design and execute Academy sessions for players 7-11
– Recruit players for BeDiscovered Football Academy
– Reporting on individual and team progression every 6 weeks (Academy)

Essential:
– Experience working with young children
– FA Licenced coaches Club member
– Minimum FA Level 1 Certificate
– Minimum FA Youth Module 1
– Up to date and DBS/CRB Check (Minimum 1 Year Remaining)
– Up to Date Emergency First Aid & Safeguarding Children Certificates (Minimum 1 Year Remaining)

Desirable:
– Driving license & Full access to a vehicle
– FA Level 2 Certificate
– FA Youth Award
– Able to work individually and as part of a team
– Innovative mind to aid the academy
– Excellent written & verbal feedback skills.
– Understanding of elite football environment.
