Job Description
This role will focus on supporting our clubs and leagues to grow and thrive through England Football Accreditation and supporting with our Racial Equality Action Plan.
The Football Development team is responsible for growing the game in London, which includes increasing participation, facilities and workforce development. We have a clear ambition to lead the growth of structured football in London and to do this in a way that maximises our impact on wider social outcomes such as physical and mental health and community cohesion.
Job purpose
• To support the delivery of The FA National Game Strategy and London Football Association Strategy 2020-2025 and annual operational plan.
• To lead the England Football Accreditation Programme for Clubs and Leagues.
• To lead associated parts of the London FA Racial Equality Action Plan.
• To contribute to the effective implementation of The FA’s Safeguarding Operating Standard for County FAs.
• To support the adoption of FA technology systems across grassroots football.
• To comply with FA rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidance that are in place from time to time.
Experience and Skills
• Working or volunteering in football development and/or sport development
• Project management skills and experience – to plan, set and achieve objectives to deadlines
• Excellent IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
• Exceptional customer service
• Planning and delivering events including presenting in front of large groups
• Organising, collating, analysing and reporting key information – both quantitative and qualitative
• Working collaboratively with partners and stakeholders
• Financial management and processes
