Job Description
Bristol Rovers Community Trust is seeking to employ a dynamic individual who will lead and shape the Trusts fundraising activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and shaping the Trust’s fundraising events and activities, in order to grow our unrestricted income. The role will involve identifying, organising and running fundraising events / activities in line with the Trusts vision, in keeping with current and emerging fundraising trends. The role will require working with key members of staff, such as the Trusts Media Manager, to co-ordinate a fundraising events calendar to maximise income generation. It will be vital to utilise the clubs fan base and maximise their engagement in our fundraising activities and build strong positive relationships with our beneficiaries. In addition, engaging new members of the community in our fundraising efforts will be a key area of growth. Income generation targets will need to be achieved within agreed timescales and management of fundraising budget will be essential to this roles success.
We are seeking someone who is knowledgeable and passionate about the workings of charities, football and sport. They will need to excel in the areas of fundraising and event management and be able to engage with a wide range of people.
This role may require flexible working hours to meet the agreed targets of the position. Therefore commitment, passion and a love of knowing that you will be making a difference to people in the community is going to be vital to your success within this role. Job Title: Fundraising Events and Activities Co-Ordinator
Report to: CEO of the Trust, Community Manager

Responsible for:
Organising fundraising events on behalf of the Trust
Location: Based at The Memorial Stadium with additional travel to various other locations in Bristol and South Gloucestershire
Hours of Work: 15 hours per week. The role can have flexible working times to be discussed at interview
Contract: Part time starting September 2021: Initially a 1 year contract with the view to make the position permanent and an increase of hours dependant of the success of the role

Job Purpose:
To organise fundraising events and activities, on behalf of the Trust, that will increase unrestricted funds for the charity
Remuneration: £19,000 – £22,000 per annum (pro rata) based on a 37.5 hour working week
This role is initially for 15 hours per week
