Fundraising Events Assistant – Youth Adventure Trust – South West England

An exciting and full programme of corporate challenge events in 2015 has created the opportunity for a part time (21 hours per week), home based Fundraising Events Assistant at the Youth Adventure Trust.

You must be self motivated, able to multi task, a fantastic team player, have excellent inter-personal skills and enjoy being outdoors.

The post holder will support the Director of Fundraising and the Events Manager in developing and delivering the events which form an important income stream for the charity. You will play a key role in the organisation and administration of the events from start to finish. You will also be the first port of call for event participants to ensure they feel supported throughout their training and fundraising and have a fantastic experience. You will help to maximise the fundraising potential from each event by developing long lasting relationships and promoting the work of the Youth Adventure Trust.

You will be involved in helping to organise events for up to 200 people in various locations around the UK. The position is homebased, however you will be required to travel to event locations and work occasional weekends.

This post is offered on a temporary 9 month basis. However, if it proves to be a success, then we expect there will be the opportunity for the post holder to develop and become a permanent member of the team.
