Who we are
We are a private, sports performance facility based in Ipswich, Suffolk. Perform For Sport prides itself on being able to offer the best coaching team and clinical practitioners to everyone who walks through our doors. We work as a multi-disciplinary team to assist in improving our client’s sports performance, and health. We work with a variety of athletes from junior to senior level from elite, professional, semi-professional and recreational team sports and individual sports.
What we do
We specialise in sports performance, strength and conditioning, sports injury and rehabilitation. We offer expert coaching, performance testing, exercise programmes and an on-site sports injury clinic to help those get back to sport and exercise as soon as possible.
The role and key duties
We are a growing sports performance facility looking for a Sports Therapist / Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our team. We are looking for someone who is committed and passionate about working within sport. Someone who has excellent communication skills and is confident with injury diagnosis, injury management, rehabilitation and pitch-side duties. You must be a team player who is passionate about personal and team growth, someone who is looking to assist in building the first performance facility within Suffolk.
The roles and responsibilities include:
• To provide a sports injury service and injury management to our sports contracts.
• The opportunity to grow your own client base with flexible hours.
• To provide and assist in first-aid services to our sports contracts.
• To provide athletic taping, sports massage, injury assessment and treatment to our athletes and gym members.
• Able to design and deliver 1:1 rehabilitation sessions in house and field rehabilitation.

• Develop your own knowledge and skill of exercise rehabilitation with the assistance from our S&C coaches.
• A chance to manage acute sports injuries from pitch-side to clinical setting.
• We can give you a platform to be your own independent practitioner in the first performance centre within Ipswich, Suffolk.
Qualifications
Hold a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy / Sports Rehabilitation / Physiotherapy
Hold a membership to Society of Sport Therapist / BASRAT / CSP
Hold own public liability insurance to practice
Hold a first aid qualification
Experience:
Clinical: 1 Year (preferred)
