David Chipperfield Architects is a leading international practice with offices in London, Berlin, Milan and Shanghai. We are looking for an experienced communications assistant/graphic designer to join our communications team.

The role includes crafting text for the practice’s internal and external publications including project texts and credits, and responsibility for graphics in publications and documentation. This will involve working with project teams and therefore a flexible and proactive approach to work is imperative. You will be able to demonstrate a well organised approach, strong attention to detail and a natural flair for writing combined with a passion for design.

Responsibilities will also include supporting the head of communications with a wide range of tasks, managing PR and press requests as well as dealing with press releases and awards. This will involve website editing and updates and the coordination of internal communications, events, exhibitions and publications.

The ideal candidate will be educated to at least degree level or equivalent and a good team player. Excellent communication skills are a must, as well as diplomacy, initiative, and a willingness to go the extra mile. Proficiency in InDesign and familiarity with Microsoft office are advantageous. Experience of or a background in architecture and/or the wider arts and humanities is desirable for this role.
