Job Description
We are looking for a Head Coach to join our team, based at Sea Lanes, our new office in Brighton, UK.
You will be setting up a new department focussing on open water and pool coaching. This is a varied role that will require high levels of organisation, adaptability and self-management.
You’ll be a natural motivator and an expert on the latest and most effective swim techniques. You will be coaching in an endless pool; 50 metre pool and in the open water. What you don’t know about the most effective swim technique you will be the type who is continually eager to learn and update your knowledge.
The majority of your time will be based at our Endless Pool beside the beach at the new Sea Lanes site in Brighton, alongside our Head Office.
You’ll be reaching a highly varied market, ranging from those unable to swim at all, and newcomers to open water swimming to dedicated open water athletes. You’ll come with enthusiasm, energy and creative ideas to help build a world class coaching arm that complements SwimTrek as the global leader in the open-water swimming world.
Principal Accountabilities:
The Head Coach role is responsible for developing and managing all aspects of the SwimTrek Coaching portfolio, including Open Water and pool coaching. This varied role requires high levels of organisation, adaptability and self-management. Primarily based at our Endless Pool facility at Sea Lanes, the role encompasses managing all customer bookings, management of 3rd party coaches, maintenance and upkeep of the Endless Pool as well as personally coaching within the Endless Pool and on pool deck at Sea Lanes during SwimTrek sessions. This role will also play a major role in developing the coaching trips globally within SwimTrek product portfolio and ensuring a consistent delivery of service is achieved across all coaching touchpoints.
