Head Swimming Coach – University of Warwick Swimming and Water Polo – England

Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual qualified as a Level 2 swimming coach to join the University of Warwick’s swimming team as head coach as of October 2022. You will be expected to work effectively alongside the club exec.
As a head coach you will be primarily responsible for the coaching and progression of the Club/Competitive squad, for which you will coach for 4 sessions a week. You will be responsible for delivering sessions that facilitate the progression of our swimmers, in the shape of a training program that aligns to key competitions throughout each term. These responsibilities are summarised below:
Lead the Club/Competitive programme of the University of Warwick’s swimming team for four sessions a week.
Work alongside the swimming exec to produce an engaging and challenging training program that is aligned to the relevant university competitions. Training must also accommodate for differences in ability and individual goals
Be present and ready to deliver the training sessions.
Encourage new members of the team to stay with the club, working with the President and the Captains to create an inclusive environment.
