British Wrestling, the national governing body for wrestling in the UK, is seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Legacy Project Officer to deliver its legacy ambitions for the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games. This is an exciting opportunity to join the national governing body for the Olympic and Commonwealth sport of wrestling.
The Legacy Project Officer will work with targeted communities in the West Midlands, Northwest, and London/ Southeast to facilitate female wrestling projects that increase participation, retention and tackle inequalities in participation. The successful candidate will have experience of working with clubs and communities to develop inclusive programmes that demonstrate the social impact of sport.
The post holder will work with our digital partners to create digital communities to enhance the participant experience and our monitoring and evaluation partners to ensure the impact of the project is captured.
