Salary: £24,000
Job Type: Full-Time 37.5 hours per week – Permanent Contract
Trent Bridge, the home of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, is looking to recruit a Maintenance Operative Supervisor to work in part of its Operations department.
The team you will work within is responsible for the upkeep, cleanliness and maintenance of all buildings and facilities at Trent Bridge and the nearby Lady Bay Sports Ground.
The ideal candidate will be supervising a small team and will be expected to work flexibly to undertake a wide variety of preventive maintenance, cleaning and repairs and will have a passion for delivering a clean, comfortable and safe environment for our customers, spectators, staff, players and match officials.
We are looking for someone who has previous experience within a maintenance or trade role as well as in a supervisory position. The ideal candidate will work closely with the facilities manager to be able to work to deadlines. You will have a keen eye for detail and a ‘can-do’ attitude. A flexible worker with a hands-on approach, you must be able to work on your own initiative but always as part of the team.
The successful applicant will be required to work 37.5 hours per week over 5 days, however, this role will involve working longer hours and weekends, especially during the Cricket Season (April to September), the early starts/late finishes/ weekends can occur at short notice throughout the year due to the demands of the business.
