Role & Responsibilities
This role will be based at our new site in Bathgate.
The Opportunity
As an integral member of the Fulfillment Team, you will report directly to the Senior Materials Handler. You will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the Material handling processes are followed. You will carry out your duties to a high level of compliance while maintaining good housekeeping and excellent customer service.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain receipt, storage, material handling, and logistic destitution processes.
Maintain a high level of Stock control.
Maintain all Electronic systems and required documentation in accordance with SOP’s.
Work on department continuous improvement activities to improve processes and drive down the Cost of Goods.
Maintain an excellent level of housekeeping and organisation within the Warehouse areas using lean and 5S principles and techniques.
Ensure all waste streams are maintained and that waste is disposed of according to regulations.
Ensure fulfillment of orders On Time In Full (OTIF).
Ensure accuracy of shipments and the goods leave the facility in excellent condition.
Ensure adherence to GxP and all relevant regulatory standards including ISO13485.
Create a positive working environment that acknowledges and pro-actively supports compliance with GMP.
Required Experience
Essential Skills:
Proven experience of working in a similar role.
Assertive, resilient, and able to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
Experience in using an ERP system, preferably Oracle Netsuite.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Desirable Skills:
Warehouse Experience in Medical Device/GMP Environment
Logistics Experience
Possesses a current counterbalance forklift license
Dangerous Goods Trained
