The office administrator/PA role will be an integral part of our creative team providing support to the architectural staff and directors. Part-time post can be considered. The role requires an energetic and reliable person who has initiative and is able to multitask effectively.
Ideally the candidate would have at least six months experience in a similar role. A university degree is also desirable.
This is a support role that will not require design skills, but a good eye for graphic design and an awareness of visual arts would be advantageous.
Responsibilities include:
office administration and management
PA role for directors
assisting in compiling and submitting bid documents. Good writing skills and graphic skills required
There is scope for the role to expand over time to include more management responsibilities.
Skills and attributes:
highly organised and capacity to multi-task, prioritise effectively and work to deadlines
excellent communication skills, spoken and written English, with ability to copy-edit text
computer literate with strength using Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign
ability to work both independently and in a team with a high level of attention to detail
Relevant previous experience:
business administration
previous experience within an architecture practice or an arts and design background is desirable but not essential
Salary commensurate with experience.
