PA/studio manager with graphic skills:
Lily Jencks Studio, a small landscape and architecture firm, is looking for a part-time PA/studio manager.
Applicant should be a confident friendly individual, highly organised, and have an interest in the field of architecture.
Applicants have ideally worked in a landscape architects/architects office environment and be highly competent with Microsoft office programs. Experience of using adobe graphic programs is beneficial.
Skills and attributes:
the ability to identify problems and provide solutions for the smooth running of the office
the ability to be calm, confident and work in a professional manner
excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
a degree of numeracy and financial literacy skills for checking accounts and documents, with good knowledge of Excel
good knowledge and understanding of IT
awareness of design and graphic presentation
Responsibilities:
day to day managing of the office filing and administration
managing everyday office finances, payment and issuing of invoices
project related admin, including filing, scheduling, meeting minutes
staff management, contracts, payment
office management, insurances, utilities, phone and internet, stocking stationary
business planning and development – researching opportunities, administering competition entries completing pre-qualification questionnaires
website updates, PR and marketing opportunities
personal PA responsibilities such as property management, travel planning, diary management
Salary dependent on experience.
Initial six-month contract with a view to a permanent contract thereafter.
