OAOA is a London-based multidisciplinary practice providing masterplanning, architecture, interior, and landscape design services.
Following large-scale commissions, including luxury seaside villas and golf residences, we are looking for talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic architectural assistants to join our growing practice.
Your work will cover all design stages, from concept to detail design and construction and will provide you with invaluable and diverse experience.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
preparing, developing and editing, under the guidance of the project leader, drawings, models, images and other documents relating to the design
assisting and coordinating with the design team to establish building type, style, cost…etc
conduct studies on condition and characteristics of site and analysing surveys
where appropriate monitor construction work in progress to ensure compliance with the design
Salary ranges between £22,000 to £28,000 per annum depending on experience.
Candidates should:
have excellent creative design capabilities, demonstrated by a design portfolio
be self driven and motivated to push contemporary design methods and representation
be proactive, work efficiently and systematically with the design team within an energetic environment to meet project demands and deadlines
have the ability to use a variety of media in the development and documentation of the design and be proficient in 2D and 3D technical skills including: Microstation (and/or AutoCAD), Rhino, 3D studio Max, Photoshop and In-Design
legally able to work in the UK
