PE and Sports Coach – Birmingham – Aspire Sports Health & Fitness

Job Description
The successful applicants will be employed to improve the standard of school sport and ensure that all customers experience a service that exceeds their expectations. This will be achieved through the delivery of outstanding PE lessons, sharing in-depth knowledge of primary school PE with programme participants, communicating effectively with all programme participants, ensuring all administration and impact data is completed. The position is 30 hours per week and will include school holiday work and coaching on our sports academies until Friday 2nd September 2016, with the possibility of a contract extension.

Qualifications:
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (a HND/ degree is desired but not essential)
• Competent in literacy and numeracy to Level 2
• Minimum of one Level 2 NGB qualification (or working towards)
• First Aid qualification
• Safeguarding Children in Sport qualification
• Possess or willing to work towards a PESS NVQ Level 3
General:
• This job is subject to receipt of an enhanced DBS disclosure

Working for Aspire Sports
• Employed status on a contract of 30 hours per week
• Salary of £13,000 (pro rata) + reward scheme for high performance
