Haslemere Community Rugby Club is an ambitious amateur rugby club currently playing in the Surrey 4 league. The grounds and clubhouse are conveniently located only several minutes from the A3. Away league fixtures are located in Surrey within an hour’s drive from the club. The club boasts a spacious treatment room with massage couch.

Job Description
The role includes but is not limited to:
• Running a Tuesday clinic from 19:30-21:00 during the playing season
• Saturday afternoon match preparation, pitch side cover and necessary aftercare. Kick off times vary from 14:00 – 15:00 depending on the time of year.
• General assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of player’s injuries and communicating this to the Head Coach / Director of Rugby on a weekly basis.
• Managing stock levels of treatment and taping supplies for senior rugby.
• Being responsible the management and logging of all incidents and treatments
• Promoting preventative injury screening.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in physiotherapy and be a qualified band 5/6 physiotherapist. Who has completed rotations in outpatients and is interested in sports rehabilitation.

It will be expected that candidates become familiar with the RFU “Headcase” guidance and “Graduated Return to Play” protocol.

In return for a season long commitment the club will look to fund taping and pitch side trauma first aid courses whilst remuneration is also available for the right candidate.
