Introduction:
Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) requires an Integrated Planning and Scheduling (IP&S) Specialist to provide planning and scheduling support to Campaigns, Bids and Programme Execution
The ideal candidate will already be familiar with a wide range of planning and scheduling tools, including MS Project and OpenPlan or other industry recognised systems. This role is based at our Bristol office.

The role:
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Support Project Managers to deliver planning & scheduling activities, aligned to the Boeing Programme Management best practice to ensure successful project start up and execution throughout the project lifecycle
Undertake Schedule Risk Analysis
Establish and maintain Schedule baselines and maintain schedule forecast
Provide schedule status and performance metrics to project managers
Undertake schedule Change Management
Identify and implement IP&S process, quality and productivity improvements.
Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in Project Planning & Scheduliing
Lead and direct the activities and resources within and across Functional and Organisational boundaries.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to listen, assimilate, evaluate and summarise.C
Comunicate with the customer at all levels

Required Qualifications:
Experience in a similar role, preferably within a MOD defence contract

Desired Qualifications:
Project Management certification desirable
Work Authorisation: This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
Visa Status and Relocation: This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Relocation benefits are not available. Successful candidates must have existing / ability to obtain legal authorisation to work in the UK for continued employment.
Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to obtain UK security clearance
