Haworth Tompkins seek an exceptional receptionist for their award-winning architectural practice. This key front of house role involves answering telephone calls, greeting clients and visitors, booking travel, couriers and taxis, managing incoming and outgoing mail, updating project contact lists, placing stationery orders and general administration tasks.
The role requires a highly organised individual with an excellent command of English, professional telephone manner, confident, friendly and proactive. You must be computer literate, and be able to use Microsoft Word and Excel. An interest in architecture or the creative industries is a bonus, but not essential.
Responsibilities include:
answer all incoming phone calls
greet visitors and manage meeting rooms
maintaining the reception area, preparing the meeting rooms and providing refreshments
book couriers, taxis, train tickets, print jobs and accommodation for staff
open and scan incoming mail
organise outgoing post and create postage labels
recycling
keep office communal areas clean and tidy
providing support for studio coordinator
general administration support for all members of staff including research tasks, document uploading, printing and binding of project reports
ordering stationery and office supplies as required
