Job Description
1st Step Sports are looking for committed football referees to officiate U11-U16 games in the Nerf Junior Premier League fixtures. The successful candidate must be reliable and available Saturdays to cover home academy fixtures. As a football referee at any level, you would look after the players’ safety and make sure they obey the rules of the game. Matches will be located in the Cambridge area and the ability to travel to our home venue is vital.

Person specification
– Good knowledge of football
– Experience refereeing 9v9 and 11v11 youth matches
– FA Referee qualifications
– Good level of fitness to keep up with the game
– Safeguarding, Child protection and DBS check
– Excellent communications skills
– The self-confidence to make difficult decisions
– A calm and professional approach
