Rugby Systems Matchday Operator – Sportable

Job Description
Exciting opportunity for rugby focused Sport Scientists / Performance Analysts to join Sportable’s match-day field operations team.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with strong attention to detail and a keen interest in the latest trends in sports technology and analytics. Successful candidates will be required to travel to various rugby stadiums / training grounds to set up and operate Sportable’s cutting edge ball tracking technology. You will be required to liaise with sportable’s employees and key match-day officials in a fast-paced environment and provide a service to the highest professional standard. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of sports technology and professional rugby with a dynamic and fun team. Full training will be provided.

Main Responsibilities:
• Set up, monitor, and operate Sportable’s ball tracking technology at selected matches
• Liaise with Sportable staff, teams and broadcasters to ensure smooth and professional service delivery
• Prepare the system for match-day operations (charging kit and balls, etc)

Personal Qualities:
• Good communication and organisation skills
• Ability to follow processes with attention to detail
• Capable to work in high pressure and fast paced environments
• Experience working in a team environment
• Ability to work weekday and weekends
• Full UK driving license & access to a personal vehicle

Requirements:
• Graduate or postgrad preferred to 2nd / 3rd year
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of rugby union
Desirable Skills:
• Hands-on experience with similar sports technology
• Experience with performance analysis software for live coding of events
