Our successful digital team in Milton Keynes is expanding. We’ve recently moved to a brand new office near the city centre, and we’re looking for talented individuals like you to help us meet growing demand from our clients. We envisage travelling to the office once a week and we are more than happy with remote working! Working in the Financial Services sector, and our work varies from rapid prototyping to multi-year digital transformation projects.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
As a scrum master you will be working with our existing agile practitioners across the UK, you will be responsible for pioneering, defining and governing the Agile practice within the new engineering centre, working closely with the engineering teams and leads to provide the most effective delivery processes.
• Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
• Coaches the Scrum team in self-organisation, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.
• Works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organisational project or product teams.
• Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
• Works with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role.
• Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organisation.
• Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with internal and external clients, as well as sales and business stakeholders within the business. You will have demonstrable agile experience, as well as software development and SDLC knowledge.
In addition to core skills you will demonstrate an understanding of where agile delivery methods may not work, or need to be tailored to delivery demands that are not Agile in nature.
You may have worked with clients who may not have experienced or appreciate Agile delivery methods, and you will be able to evangelise and champion lean delivery and the benefits that it provides. In addition you will have worked with more classical delivery methods and have demonstrable ways of overcoming the conflicts with Agile delivery.
You will also have demonstrable experience of managing agile teams that are remote from the client base and will be able to bring best practice in that area. You will also have experience working with and across scrum teams of varying sizes, and holding ‘scrum of scrum’ meetings to co-ordinate work across working teams.
