Academy Skills Development Coaching
About Us – Elite Cricket Performance Academy is an academy based in West London that will be expanding out of London later this year.
We have numerous programmes: Incredistars (Helping the transition of young players into Hard Ball Cricket), Level 1 (Basics of Batting, Bowling and Fielding), Level 2 (Players on or starting on County Pathways, this includes further development of skills and the tactical element), Level 3 (U14-20 county youths and international youths, the focus is their needs and what they want to learn).
We are trying to help players understand their game, how they play as an individual and help them become their own coach over time.
We currently have 260+ Students and are growing which means expansion and ensuring the delivery of sessions is similar across time slots and venues.

What we require of the coach:
We have a Programme Lead and the Skills Development Coaches would assist him in the continued development of the programme.
8 Hours a day of training/trials from Late September/Early October to April of the next year on Saturdays and Sunday, Mid week evening coaching from 6-9:30pm. We have 10-12 Week Semesters during that period on Saturdays and Sundays.
Things that we are looking for:
ECB Level 2, ideally working towards a Level 3 or beyond.
A coach that wants to grow and take on leadership opportunities.
Must be available on Saturdays and or Sundays all year around. We have three main semesters: September to December, January to April, May to August. This role would not really suit players who play on weekends as we require coaches in the summer semester too.
Might be available for holiday camps: Half Terms, Easter, Summer etc 10am to 4pm.
Current DBS
Can travel to West London
Positive, energetic type of personality like likes to work with Children and focus on strengths
Good Interpersonal Skills
Has an area of expertise from: Batting, Fast Bowling, Spin Bowling, Fielding, Wicket Keeping. We want to have leads in each field of expertise who will run 121 review sessions for students, the coach would be open to learning and considering new concepts and developing some.
Your coaching philosophy and why working for us interests you
Should be willing to learn as a coach, adapt to what the players and programme requires. Your coaching beliefs might differ but we would like you to embrace what we believe in during our sessions and games. We can have discussions about your thoughts and adapt if required.
Ability to use APP’s and Cameras, we have a player tracking app that has been developed for Skills sessions. We need to provide constructive feedback when requested to players to help provide actual solutions; not just spot problems.
The ability to work with small groups 4-1 Coach to player ratio and 121 in a specific area of expertise (Or more).
We are looking to develop an online learning platform to teach our methods to a global market. This would mean workshops abroad and helping on overseas tours if required to learn from the lead local coaches.

What we can offer you:
Pay is dependent upon experience, hourly rates for coaching hours.
Coach Education – We have heads of various skills running Masterclasses for our players and you would be able to come along and learn. Skills include: Batting, Fast Bowling, Spin Bowling, Fielding, Throwing (Baseball), Power Hitting (Baseball), Wicket Keeping, Sprinting, Mental Wellbeing (Children and Parents), Visual Cue Development.
Opportunities to also coach in the GLES programme and manage matches.
Opportunities to work on Schools programmes and club programmes with our affiliated clubs.
