Job Description
Burton Albion Ladies FC are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed individual or individuals to work within the busy Medical Department during the 2016/2017 Season.

This is a great opportunity for a Sports Therapy/Sports Rehabilitation student or recent graduate to expand on their current knowledge and develop new skills within a growing Medical Department of a progressive women’s football club.

The successful candidate will be expected to help with the day-to-day running of the Medical Department, assist the Medical Team with Match Day Medical Care, Pre and Post Match Massage and Soft Tissue Therapy and the implementation of Rehabilitation Programs to our senior team players.

This role will allow the Therapist to practically enhance their skills during training sessions, drop in Injury Clinics and Matches. There will also be an opportunity to work with the Development and First Team Squads during the season. They will be expected to work a long side the Coaching and Medical Team’s at the club and report to the Head of Medical weekly.

This position is not on a full time basis and hours can be flexible (can be discussed further at interview). We would look to whenever possible fit this job around existing further study or work but we would ask for the same commitment and professionalism as any other job.

Essential
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Minimum final year of relevant degree (second year students may be considered dependant on skill set and experience).
• Good time management and communication skills
• Full UK Driving License

Desirable
• Previous experience within sporting environment.
• IFAS/AREA Qualification
• Insurance/Membership with relevant provider.
