Solihull Moors Ladies FC – Sports Therapist role
Solihull Moors Ladies FC, of the FA Women’s Premier League, Midland Division One (4th step), are looking for a sports therapist to join their team for the 2017/2018 season. We are an open aged side, with a squad of over 20 players. We are looking for an experienced sports therapist to assist with injury assessment, rehabilitation, and injury prevention and pitch side care, and to work closely with our coaches, to ensure players are able to perform at the highest possible level. We train every Thursday evening 8-10pm and play Sunday afternoons at 2 pm.
Essential:
Valid DBS Certificate
Current qualification in acute pitch-side care (management of spinal injuries, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, wounds; preferably FA Accredited)
Degree in physiotherapy/sports therapy
HCPC Insurance
Experience in sports injury management
Desirable:
Taping qualifications
FA Emergency First Aid Certificate*
FA Safeguarding Children Certificate*
Experience of working within a sports club
*The successful candidate will be expected to complete these courses if they do not hold valid certificates
