Our regular clients and members include elite athletes, recreational athletes, performance and health/fitness industry professionals, current S&C coaches, aspiring S&C coaches, Personal Trainers, sports coaches, healthcare professionals and a host of people from the film industry. Move HQ is fast establishing itself as the number one commercial facility and operation in Strength & Conditioning and Sports Performance.
We boast a large and spacious facility finished to the highest of standards with all the tools an S&C Coach needs to flourish. We have onsite healthcare professionals, recovery tech space, a seminar room, a separate dedicated holistic/yoga studio and private external 2G astro turf space.
Our ambition is to become the leading S&C facility in the UK.
We are currently expanding our team to accommodate an increase in demand and to help us achieve our aspirations.

Role Summary
Our goal is to eventually boast the best team of S&C coaches under one roof in the UK. We are looking for good coaches who are importantly also good people.
This role is suited to an accredited coach who is looking for a facility to call their home, developing individual 1-1 coaching business through Move HQ and adding to our delivery expertise with our sports clubs and outreach initiative – Move HQ Elite.
We are looking at both full-time and part-time positions to add to our coaching team this Autumn.
Successful applicants must be able to exhibit consistently high levels of coaching and positively contribute towards our member and visitor experiences.
A fundamental understanding of Sports and Exercise Science and an ability to apply Strength & Conditioning principles is a pre-requisite for this role.
At Move HQ coaches will have the opportunity to work with elite athletes, semi-professional athletes and the broader community both from the large business park which we are part of and the surrounding region.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Ability to effectively work alongside and collaboratively with our onsite healthcare professionals with rehabilitative protocols.
• Assess, plan and coach training interventions/programmes which are underpinned by sound current scientific evidence and practice based rationale.
• Delivery of both 1-1 and small group S&C sessions.
• Delivery of Performance Training Sessions to groups within the facility.
• Delivery of Technical/Workshop sessions to groups of our members and visitors.
• Development of individual business growth.
• Actively contribute to the continuous professional development of the team through regular discussion, team workshops and seminars.
• Show responsibility for mentoring junior team members with regards to their competencies and behaviours.
• Have a pro-active approach to the daily operation of the training facility.
• Practice within the rules of the UK Strength and Conditioning Association Professional Code of Conduct, Standards and Guidelines.

Education, Qualifications & Experience
Successful applicants must hold:
• A degree in Sports Science, Strength & Conditioning or related field.
• UKSCA Accreditation (or ability to achieve within 6 months) or equivalent.
• Significant experience practicing Strength & Conditioning in a multi-sport environment.

Desirables
• A higher level degree qualification in Sports Science, Strength & Conditioning or related field.
• Experience in elite sport or with elite athletes.
• Experience of working in and contributing to youth Athlete Development Programmes.

• Have an in depth understanding of how performance tests contribute to performance variables and consequently inform training/interventions.
• Hold an up to date enhanced DBS or the ability to obtain one.
• Strong IT skills with Microsoft programmes and ability to grasp booking systems.
