Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To coach an age group for 2 x 90 minutes’ sessions per week.
Manage the team in the Youth games programme ensuring all players are provided with a minimum of 50% game time.
Responsible for ensuring all Junior Premier League paperwork is completed and uploaded on time.
Responsible for ensuring your team adhere to Junior Premier League rules and regulations at all times.
Responsible for the management of a Youth age group squad ensuring players are provided equal opportunities to achieve 75% playing time across the season.
Produce detailed session plans for Youth training sessions.
Lead the monitoring and evaluation of players to include the multidisciplinary performance review process within your age groups.
Conduct formal player reviews providing detailed written feedback.
Conduct informal reviews verbally on a regular basis.
Attend at least five hours of FA in-service training per year
Attend FA first aid training at least once every three years
To undertake internal CPD organized by the Youth Department
Be a licensed football coach with the FA.
Attend all Aldershot Town Football Club first team home games.
Ensure that your age group adhere to the academy playing philosophy at all times.
Be an Ambassador of Aldershot Town Football Club, by communicating and promoting the
Youth Department culture creating an elite environment for the development of young players.
Ensure the Youth Department technical programme is adhered to and delivered with quality at all times.
Set high standards of professionalism and demonstrate a high standard of conduct thus providing a good role model for young players and staff.
Any other duties deemed necessary by your line manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
UEFA B Licence (desireable)
FA Level 2
FA Youth Award (desireable)
FA Youth Award level 2
DBS Certificate
First Aid Certificate
Safeguarding Children Certificate
FA Licensed football coach
A Full UK driving licence is required
