University of Nottingham Sport – Netball Coach (3rd/4th Teams) – University of Nottingham – UoN Sport

Job Description
The University of Nottingham has invested significantly into it’s sporting infrastructure, with a £40m Sports Village and substantial investment into it’s coaching and development support for our 75 sports clubs and 120+ active teams. The University placed 2nd overall in the BUCS league table in 2018-19 and were awarded The Sunday Times Good University Guide Sports University of the Year 2021.
We are currently seeking an experienced assistant netball coach for our 3rd & 4th teams for the upcoming 2020/21 season. The 3rd team currently play in BUCS Midlands 2A, whilst the 4th team are in the division below, Midlands 3B.
The contract period will be January 2021– June 2021, within this contract the coach, ideally holding a minimum of a Level 1 coaching qualification and will help support the delivery of an innovative and effective netball programme to support the development of netball within the university. The deliverer must also hold appropriate personal liability insurance.

The role
includes coaching, planning, administration and club development focused on the 3rd and 4th teams, working alongside the club committee members and fellow netball coaches.

The contract will be for 54.5 hours at £15 per hour
The coaching delivery times of the contract are listed below:
Monday 18:00 – 20:00
Sunday 18:30 – 20:00
Wednesday* (Fixtures – Afternoons – Times Vary)
*Attendance at fixtures is desirable but not essential.
