Job Purpose
The role provides frontline wellbeing and progression support across our further and higher education programmes. In addition, the role will support positive exit pathways for current Foundation participants aged 16-19yrs by driving our Life Skills and Community Experience programme.
Objectives
– To ensure all education students benefit from an impactful welfare support programme
– To support current and future students in achieving their chosen progression pathways
– To implement a comprehensive life skills programme across the Football & Education (FE) provision
– To effectively communicate with FE coaches and tutors to ensure they are in a position to best support their students
– To ensure all individual student needs and requirements are being met
Role Specific Responsibilities
– To provide general and targeted wellbeing support to students on FE/HE programmes
– To work with the Head of Curriculum to maintain safeguarding records
– To develop and utilise a wide range of signposted support options for students
– To support students to achieve positive exit routes
– To plan and implement the life skills programme utilising external expertise as needed
– To support the Head of Curriculum with administration, diary management and other general tasks as required
– Compile relevant reports and case studies to showcase impact and success stories
