An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Wellbeing officer to join the Move Imperial Department to support the development and delivery of their health and wellbeing offer to the Imperial Community.
Move Imperial serves Imperial students and staff as well as the local community. We are responsible for the delivery of sport facilities, physical activity programmes and support over 60 student sports clubs. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a wellbeing or health environment and delivering programmes targeted on improving mental and physical wellbeing. We are looking for an individual with a passion for wellbeing and health. Qualifications relevant to wellbeing and health would be beneficial to this post.
For this role, there is a need to communicate well with a variety of customers. Good organisational and administrative skills are also needed, with the ability to promote College sports facilities and wellbeing services. The role is ideally suited to a person who is highly self-motivated, who can manage their own time, and who is able to prioritise tasks effectively.
This is a customer facing role, and as such the successful applicant must be ready to communicate with a diverse range of customers and demonstrate a strong commitment towards ensuring excellence in customer service and enhancing the customer experience and ensuring that all areas work in accordance with Departmental and Imperial College London requirements and agreed standards.
Duties and responsibilities
Some general duties include:
To assist in the coordination and delivery of a varied and interesting programme of wellbeing activities including targeted initiatives, wellbeing events and educational workshops across our multiple campuses
To assist the Wellbeing Manager with a series of campaigns and one-off events to promote the benefits of leading an active lifestyle to the College and general community such as Move More, Move from Home, Mental Health Awareness week and Healthy Living week
To assist the Wellbeing Manager to coordinate the Active Lifestyles team in the delivery of the wellbeing programme
To assist the Imperial Community to better understand wellbeing and to meet their goals of being more active
To collect, report and present on a range of data relating to the delivery of programmes, events and activities
The post is full time (35 hours p.w.) covering evenings and weekends on a 5 out of 7 day contract.
