Job Description
British Wrestling, the national governing body for wrestling in the UK, in partnership with the Welsh Wrestling Association, is seeking to appoint a part-time Welsh Wrestling Development Officer to deliver our mission of promoting and developing the sport of wrestling so that everyone achieves their potential on and off the mat. This is an exciting opportunity to join the national governing body for the Olympic sport of wrestling.
The Welsh Wrestling Development Officer will work alongside the existing Development Team to develop the sport of wrestling specifically across Wales, with a focus on South Wales. Aiming to increase participation and membership through the development of volunteers, clubs and competitions. The successful candidate will have experience of working with clubs and communities to develop inclusive programmes that demonstrate the social impact of sport.
This is an exciting time to join British Wrestling a growing and ambitious governing body as we work collaboratively across the home nations to develop the sport.
