Welsh Cycling is the national governing body for cycling in Wales, we support cycling at all levels. Not only have Welsh riders won medals at the London Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games, our track trade team, Team USN, has also achieved excellent results. Our Development programme is building on the momentum driven by these successes and the surge of interest in cycling.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic development officer to plan, facilitate and evaluate a co-ordinated programme of cycling activities in South Wales for women and girls that ensures Welsh Cycling meet its Strategic objectives and supports the cycling community in Wales. The role will include supporting and coordinating volunteers, in particular our Breeze champion network, and also delivering the She Cycles Wales project. Both have been highly successful in bringing new women into cycling, and increasing opportunities for women and girls in Wales.
