We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated and passionate about working with and developing our athletes.

The successful candidate will be based at our world class training facility; the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre based in Lancing, West Sussex.

This is a part-time role based on a zero hours contract however candidates will need to have a flexible approach to working hours to include evening training sessions and weekend matchdays.

This role will involve promoting the welfare and well-being of the players within the Women’s and Girls’ system. The successful candidate will work closely with coaches and support staff to practically develop resilience and mental skills within the training environment to lead to enhanced performance both on and off the field.

Applicants must have an MSc in Sport Psychology or Psychology. The successful candidate will be British Psychological Society (BPS) Chartered or British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) accredited.

Candidates must have extensive experience in the provision of psychological and personal development support to athletes and coaches. Ideally, successful candidates will possess qualifications in counselling and have an understanding of the importance of relationships to effective practice.
