Youth Team Coach – FS Derby Futsal Club Limited

Job Description
FS Derby Futsal Club are one of the UK’s fastest growing, community focused Futsal Clubs. A member of the FA National Futsal League, the club boasts male and female players ranging from the age of 7, up to their open aged adult sides.

Ahead of the 2016/17 season, the club are looking to recruit new coaches to deliver and lead on it’s growing Youth & Community development programmes, joining their current group of talented and experienced coaches. The role will be a part time post from September 2016, with some minor commitment from July 2016.

The candidate will be responsible for the management and coaching of the club’s Youth Development Centre’s based in Derby, as well as the delivery of the club’s growing school & community outreach programmes promoting FS Derby Futsal Club in Derbyshire, East Staffordshire and Nottinghamshire. They will work alongside the General Manager, Head Coach and Youth Development Lead to deliver the club’s development objectives to young players aged between 7 and 16 years.

It is essential that interested candidates possess:-
– A minimum of FA Futsal Level One Coaching Award, with a willingness to begin work towards Level Two this summer. (Foreign equivalents will be considered)
– Previous experience in school or grassroots club sports coaching.
– A desire to buy in and enhance the development of a growing and thriving community orientated club structure, including a willingness to work with the rest of the coaching team on all areas of coaching and development within their remit.

It is desirable that the candidate have:-
– Previous Futsal coaching or playing experience.
– Previous knowledge of FS Derby Futsal Club and it’s playing squads.
– Knowledge of position of Futsal in England and the commitments required to grow the understanding of knowledge of the game to all ages.
– A history of success within club and player development on their CV.
