3D Artist – Cinimod Studio – London

Cinimod Studio is a cross-discipline practice based in London specialising in the fusion of architecture, lighting design, and art. The studio comprises of a team of 25 with specialisms spanning multiple industries. This role will place you within a highly creative environment working on premium brands and high-end bespoke software/electronic projects, working as part of team towards creating fine art projects, interactive installations, and products.

Cinimod Studio is looking for a junior/mid-level 3D artist to be responsible for modelling and animating for unique creative projects. You will be working within a small team of 3D artists, animators and developers with a primary focus on projects involving viewer interaction.

Essential experience:

experience with modelling using 3D Studio Max
experience with creating character animation in 3D Studio Max
understand and follow closely the project animation and modelling style and associated guidelines
follow project specifications to finish models on time, within requirements, and to a high level of quality
work closely with engineers and animation lead to troubleshoot and optimise models and animations as required
intuitive understanding of the principles of animation
keen eye for clear silhouette, strong poses, pleasing motion, and entertaining performances
flexible team worker who is a clear communicator and seeks feedback constantly
unafraid of tackling technical challenges that may stand in the way of producing the highest quality work
able to learn and work with proprietary max tools within a character pipeline
basic knowledge of game engines and generating content for those (optimising content, importing/exporting assets, FBX, Unity)
proficient in Adobe Suite (particularly After Effects and Premiere)

Desirable but not essential:

knowledge of Maxscript would be beneficial, but not required
