Purpose of the Role
The role of Academy Performance Analyst will allow the Academy to deliver services to support the development of all players and coaching staff in line with NCFC philosophy documents and ensure the club maintains it’s status as a Category One Academy.
Key Tasks / Responsibilities
1. Assist in the delivery and development of Performance Analysis services across the performance pathway at Norwich City Football Club Academy. This will include the filming of the competitive games program and regular training sessions.
2. Recording and analysis of Academy matches as instructed by Lead Performance Analyst.
3. Assist in the filming and analysis of Academy training sessions and provide feedback to coaching staff regarding content.
4. Providing Academy coaches with relevant information regarding Match and Training Analysis.
5. Ensure all equipment is maintained, fit for purpose and available for use as and when required.
6. Contribute and aid departmental research projects and tasks.
7. Completing any other additional tasks as set out by Lead Match Analyst.
Essential Attributes
1. A qualification at Degree level (or equivalent) in Sport Science or related discipline specialising in the area of Performance Analysis.
2. Experience of working in Performance Analysis within elite sport (preferably football).
3. Experience of delivering Performance Analysis support to athletes and coaches to improve performance and development, specifically team sports.
4. Knowledge of various types of Performance Analysis software (e.g. Prozone / Sportscode).
