Aim of role:
We are looking for a detail-driven architectural and design support to join our the team. You will be responsible for the UK market of our acoustic fabric product within our global company and will be looking after the design aspect of our projects.
Based in the London Showroom you will be working as part of the Soft Cells team. The role specialises in understanding architectural drawings, to capture the vision and the design of the architect involved. This will also include producing shop drawings from the stages of sign-off through to production.
Your main role is to support the sales managers to further the development and success of Soft Cells in an architectural marketplace.
You will Report to Managing Director, Kvadrat Soft Cells Ltd, London.

Tasks:
support sales managers to get projects specified, you will join sales meeting for technical support
immerse yourself in the project lifecycle, liaising with architects and relevant customers
you will work together with architects on any special requirements and any further developments they might have. The project development team and the factory will provide additional support.
evaluating the scope a project accurately from tender drawings and recognise any challenges that may arise
support sales reps and clients with design detailing and design driven technical advice
create shop drawings that correlate with our product schedule based on which the orders are placed for production
develop and design solutions for technical challenges that may arise with the product, installation, custom parts or supporting products
liaise with the product design team and production team on the design and making of specials solutions
Skills and qualifications required:
advanced user of AutoCAD, able to read architectural drawings to a high level and a knowledge of SolidWorks not essential but welcomed
excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine team player
professional communication skills – written and verbal technical/design-related college or university degree
3D thinker with the ability to translate onto 2D formats
a good understanding of construction and building techniques
self-motivation with a passion for development and improvement
