Architectural Staff – John McAslan + Partners – London

John McAslan + Partners are a leading international architectural based in London with offices in Edinburgh, Doha and Tottenham. Our portfolio of international award-winning projects includes infrastructure, hospitality, commercial, residential, education, cultural, heritage, urban design and landscape sectors. Due to an exciting recent successful commission we are recruiting architectural staff at all levels to join the team.

Our UK projects include the new Crossrail Bond Street Station in London, which will handle 250,000 passengers a day from 2018, a new series of buildings for New College, Oxford, a number of high-end residential developments, schools, landscape and public realm projects, as well as some high-profile projects for cultural institutions.

Internationally, we are currently working on sixteen projects in Doha, such as a Cultural Forum, the first Mandarin Oriental to be constructed in the Middle East, a Mosque, a school, four heritage museums and a residential complex, whilst in Russia, we are working on a significant commercial development in St Petersburg and the redevelopment of the historic Bolshevik Factory site, in India the Anand Vihar Transport Hub in Delhi, and in Canada, a master-plan for the Royal British Columbia Museum. We also have a number of initiatives in countries such as Kenya, Rwanda, Malawi and Uganda.

We are known for thinking beyond the limited remit of a conventional architectural practice. This year we have won six RIBA awards for three of our projects: Lancaster University Engineering Building, Friends House and John Roan School. We were ranked 47th in the latest AJ120 survey, a significant rise from our ranking of 58th last year. With a few changes in place, there has never been a more exciting time to join the practice.

We offer a competitive salary and generous benefits within a supportive company. As well among other current training initiatives there is the opportunity to get involved at the inception of a fantastic project with an aspiration of delivery at BIM level 2. Due to the nature of these appointments, candidates with Microstation will be preferred. Excellent 3D modelling, AecoSim/Revit and rendering skills are a benefit.
