Purpose of Job:
The Communications Department is responsible for leading all aspects of corporate communications, advancing the Bank’s mission, vision and goals through various channels amongst external and internal audiences.
The Visuals Producer, Assistant Analyst will help the team in delivering a variety of effective multimedia content that demonstrates the positive impact that the EBRD has on the countries where it invests.
This is a one-year short-term contract.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Plan, film, edit and script video productions to raise the Bank’s profile externally and to highlight its activities internally
Contribute to the video’s team innovative production approach, working across everything from podcasts to Facebook Lives
Support and play a key role in the Multichannel output team by producing digital content, especially for social media
Active participation in the planning of high profile events, such as the Annual Meeting, to ensure that all parties are offered the best coverage our department is capable of providing
Publish video and other content to ebrd.com, YouTube and social media platforms to reach target audiences
Oversee livestreaming of events on occasions and assist with their planning and delivery
Maintain the video and image library archives and associated platforms so that all assets can be easily recovered and put to good use.
Assisting and acting as in-house photographer and videographer for EBRD events
Assisting the press team when needed with tasks such as the News Centre
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Academic/Professional Qualifications
Practical media degree course or equivalent, or at least two years of experience in a media production environment, with knowledge of the professional environment in which the skills below may best be used.
Experience
Accomplished at producing multimedia content especially for social media
Good understanding of the Bank’s operations and people
Knowledge of internal and external communications
Knowledge and skills
Fluency in English and relevant languages
Creative self-shooter
Experience of editing short digital videos
Ability to craft and structure short video features
Excellent writing skills, including editorial accuracy and ability to edit concisely
Effective, persuasive and diplomatic communication skills
Keen interest in and knowledge of the EBRD countries of operations
Decent knowledge of leading industry editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut etc.)
Knowledge of video capture, processing, compression, and video asset management
Ability to work independently while also knowing when to seek advice
Ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment with changing priorities
