Their striking London office is growing and are searching for a computational fluid dynamics specialist to add to their talented and dynamic team of engineering professionals.
The role:
Working on major projects the role will entail conducting research and high level computational fluid dynamics analysis for external/internal environment in addition to cutting edge design developments while advising, liaising and supporting design teams. Working closely with the engineers and architects to guarantee strategies are optimised and problems resolved efficiently presenting results to clients and design teams.
The individual:
high proficiency in using computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
PhD or master’s degree in an engineering related field (aeronautics, mechanical engineering, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, etc)
good understanding of building services and mechanical systems
capability to resolve environmental problems using building physics as a basis
experience in the following tools/software packages: ANSYS Fluent, OpenFoam, Matlab, Excel, Rhino 3D Modelling
enthusiasm to pursue environmental design and analysis as the central part of the individual’s career development
good communication and presentation skills
able to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and demonstrate excellent organisational skills
