Design Advisor – Design South East – Chatham

Expert, independent and flexible, we support a better built environment in London, the South East and the East of England. An independent charitable organisation, we work with local authorities, the development sector and communities, facilitating a constructive dialogue and influencing the quality of the built environment. We are growing and this is an exciting opportunity for someone with the right skills to play an active role in the delivery of our work, helping to influence the outcomes of the most significant developments across the London city region and throughout the South East and East of England.

You will be joining a committed and skilled team, working with stakeholders and helping to deliver our design review and design support services. Committed to raising the quality of the built environment, you will be a driven and highly motivated individual with a built environment education to at least degree level and with at least one year of professional experience.

The post will be offered as a six month fixed term contract, which will be extended to a permanent contract subject to performance. The post is being advertised as a full-time position, but we are also open to applicants seeking a part-time role. Based in the Historic Dockyard in Medway, we fully support flexible working. We are offering a salary of circa £35,000 per annum, depending on experience with 25 days annual leave plus statutory holidays
